Financial Aid and Scholarships

Financial Aid for Global Student Teaching Participants 

University of Minnesota, Morris students in the GST program will complete a FAFSA and submit it to the Office of Financial Aid. This will determine financial aid eligibility during their GST experience.

Non-UMM students participating in the GST program at the University of Minnesota, Morris are encouraged to apply for financial aid through their home institutions.

All applicants may request a cost estimate for use in securing financial aid.

GST financial aid information for University of Minnesota, Morris students 

Morris students participating in the GST program are eligible to apply for three scholarships through the University of Minnesota, Morris:

• UMM Study Abroad Scholarship
• David and Jean Johnson International Service-Learning Scholarship
• Estelle Lee Scholarship

Other outside study abroad scholarships can also be applied to the GST program. Please contact the ACE office for assistance in identifying other scholarships for which you may be eligible.
