Admission Requirements for Global Student Teaching or Practicum

What are the Requirements for Admission?

Participation requires high acadmeic standards, completion of prerequisite courses, and the necessary preparation to teach abroad. Admission requires: 

• minimim GPA of 2.75
• approval of the Director of Student Teaching at the student's college/university indicating all prerequisite courses necessary for student teaching have been completed
• two letters of recommendation from university faculty members
• proof of mandatory liability insurance 
• criminal background check
• acceptance to the program by the coordinator
